About Us
Nationally Recognised Provider of Quality Care and Education
Progress Care and Education Ltd was established in 1996 to offer children with severe learning disabilities the best quality of life possible in homes in the community, within easy reach of local activity centres, amenities and colleges.
Our purpose built school – Progress School is approved and registered with Ofsted and is within easy reach of all our homes.
Following the success of the children’s service a residential service for young adults was established in 2001 – Progress Adult Service Ltd. This again has been very successful offering placements to children leaving Progress School and to those joining us from another service. These homes are in the same area so that the children leaving our school can carry on living in the same community and with the same peer group they have grown up with.
Who We Are
Fourteen years ago we decided to open our first house in the community for young people with challenging behaviour and learning disabilities. Since this first home we have seen many success stories of young people experiencing opportunities, learning skills and being part of a community - many of these young people are still living with us today as young adults.
