STAFF TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT

All teaching and care staff that we employ attend a comprehensive  ’2 Week Induction Training Package’ prior to attending work;

• Introduction to Challenging Behaviour
• Autism Training
• Communication Training
• Tours
• Child Protection Training/Protection of Vulnerable Adults
• Introduction to Learning Disabilities
• Health & Safety
• Manual Handling
• Key Policies
• Mental Capacity Act
• Positive Handling Training – approved by BILD
• Access to Learning /Leisure Skills

In addition we provide:

• Food Hygiene with annual refresher
• Administering medication
• Rescue procedures & medication
• Autism level 1 & 2

Further development:

• NVQ 2, 3, 4
• Annual Positive Handling Refresher
